Open Heart Ministries’ is gearing up for its summer camp for children, June 23-27 in Bluefield, West Virginia.

As in prior years, Open Heart Ministries will host the camp at its Community Resource Center, at 206 Thomas Street, just above the Captain D’s on Bluefield Avenue.

Appropriate group activities for ages 4-14 are scheduled. Along with field trips and fun events, the core areas of the camp are the arts; education and career development; health and life skills, and sports, fitness and recreation. Camp hours each day are 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Volunteers as teachers and coaches in all of these areas are invited.

Benefactors also are asked to contact Open Heart Ministries at 304-800-3370 to sponsor children’s fees, which are $50 per child. Family plans and some scholarships are available for camp participants.
